Mienie, Diekie, Fatie and Ielie visited in October. Just in time for the rugby, of course.
If you got here purely by chance, feel free to start at the beginning.
We took a drive up north past Loch Lomond and even further to Fort William. Needless to say, all Mienie and Fatie wanted to do was shop. I don't want to see their luggage when they go home. Maybe that's why they brought Ielie along. He's gonna have to do a Joey. We had to hire a people carrier to fit everybody in, and then everybody wanted to pose with it.
Somewhere, over the rainbow... a few Stirling pictures
This is our London trip, minus all the parcels. Our first stop was Buckingham Palace, managed to catch some horse guards.
This is Trafalgar Square. And, of course, there had to be pigeon poses.
We took a walk along the Thames towards Big Ben.
And here he is in all his glory. We also passed the Millenium wheel on the way, London's answer to the Greenwich Dome.
This is the Albert memorial in Hyde Park, opposite the Royal Albert Hall.
This is Tower Bridge.
Next stop, Inverness. Again! Seems to be the only place that Capetonians associate with Scotland.
